NRG Computers Limited was formed in 2009, despite fierce local competition our ethos is that people welcome the opportunity to browse without feeling under pressure to buy from pushy salesmen - for that reason we designed our shop to facilitate this. All PC and laptop repairs are carried out in our "open plan" workshop to ensure absolute transparency in all our repair work, we are happy to take the time to explain exactly what we do and our charging policy is equally plain and straightforward. Whilst some retailers focus on producing "state of the art" gaming machines and others on cheap components and peripherals, we make regular changes to accommodate customer demands. We recognise that for many people a small PC problem can seem daunting and a relatively inexpensive repair will have the system up and running without the anticipated need for a new computer system.
Our shop is open seven days a week (Monday-Saturday 10.00am-6.00pm and Sunday 11.00am-4.00pm, the pricing policy on our website is that the price you see is the price you pay, we do not show a "plus VAT" price as this can be misleading and suggest artificially lower prices, similarly we try not to depict stock which is not available. Our website is updated daily and it is our aim to ensure that every item offered for sale is accurately depicted and described, we try to avoid generic illustrations wherever possible.
We constantly strive to be the best PC repair shop in Nottingham, whilst many other independent retailers in the city have closed over the past five years, our repair centre has grown to be our key activity, many jobs are word of mouth recommendations from satisfied customers, we never artificially inflate a repair bill, always return to the customer any PC components which we replace and our workshop staff are always happy to demonstrate correct usage of any product supplied or fitted.
In these difficult financial times, replacing a computer can be an unwanted expense, so we constantly strive to provide the lowest possible labour rates on repairs with the fastest turnaround in our area, PC repairs are usually completed within 24 hours - laptop repairs can sometimes take a little longer as replacement parts are not always readily available from stock.
